Bob was a staple in sprint car racing across the country for many years, providing a top notch ride for some of the best sprint car drivers in the world. His career in sprint car racing is ranked among the best in Pennsylvania. He had posted the second most wins for a car owner in the history of Williams Grove Speedway with 81 career wins before his death in 2002. Bob is credited with 391 feature event wins on 46 tracks in 16 states with 21 drivers. His titles included six Williams Grove National Opens, four Knoxville Nationals and four straight Sharon Nationals. Bob was inducted into the York County Racing Club Hall of Fame in 1982 and National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in Knoxville, Iowa in 1998.
