Baseball was a big part of Tim’s life, cut short at the age of 42 in 2005. Tim excelled in the sport at Delone and Shippensburg. While at Shippensburg, he was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association honorable mention list as a catcher. After graduation, he was offered a contract with the Toronto Blue Jays. Tim starred with Arendtsville, Cashtown, Brushtown and Gettysburg in the South Penn League and with Stoverstown in the York Central League. He garnered a South Penn MVP award in 1992 while with Brushtown. He also coached basketball, football and baseball at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Hanover.
