Robert “Bo” Davies

Year Inducted: 2012

Bo earned 10 varsity letters from Gettysburg High School, from which he graduated in 1968. He was a three-year starter at football and basketball and a four-year starter on the golf team. Bo was named All-Conference in football as quarterback of the Warriors’ undefeated team in 1967. Bo then went on to the University of South Carolina, where he was a three-year starter on the football team. A defensive back in college, Bo set school records for most interceptions in a season (11, during his junior year) and in a career (14) — both of those records still stand. He also participated in track and basketball while at South Carolina. After graduating in 1972, Bo earned tryouts with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and Cincinnati Bengals.
