Serving as a student assistant under the legendary Romeo Capozzi as an undergraduate at Gettysburg College, he went on to earn a graduate degree from Syracuse. Returned to Gettysburg College and served 40 years, 16 as head athletic trainer. Healing hand touched not only Gettysburg athletes but high school students as well. Served as part-time member of Washington Redskins and Baltimore Colts staffs; served 12 years as Pennsylvania Big 33 Classic trainer; and was member of U.S. Olympic Training staff, Colorado Springs. Recipient of Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers’ Award for outstanding work in sports healing.
