Lauren is the YAIAA’s all-time leading scorer in girls’ basketball with 2,258 points from 2002–2006. In addition to leading Fairfield to the state quarterfinals, she was also a first team all-state volleyball player her senior season. She was named the Gettysburg Times Outstanding Female Athlete in 2006. At Shippensburg University she was the leading scorer during all four seasons and in the process set the scoring record for the PSAC with 2,407 points, a record that still stands. This placed her 15th nationally for Division II. Her career records at Shippensburg include career points, career 3-point percentage, career 3-pointers, career free throws, and career free throw percentage. She was also a two-time first team All-American. Following graduation she took her game to Europe where she played professionally. Her first year in the Danish league she was named the Most Valuable Player, having scored 518 points while playing 24 games for Lemvig Basket. The following season she played for the Horsholm 79ers where she averaged 19 points per game for 24 games.
