Year Inducted: 2008
A 1949 graduate of Gettysburg High School and a 1953 graduate of Gettysburg College, Bob excelled at both institutions in football and track and field. He lettered all four years with the high school football team as fullback, earning all-state honorable mention honors his senior year. He also lettered in track and field each high school year, specializing in the shot, discus and 220-yard dash. At college, Bob excelled as punter for the football team and in the shot, discus and broad jump for the track team.
