Mission Statement
The Adams County Sports Hall of Fame is an organization to perpetuate the memory of individuals who have brought lasting fame and recognition to Adams County and its people through their achievements in and contributions to athletics.

Philosophy
“A Hall of Fame is a lot more than an overblown closet for some old relics. It is intended to be a repository for all things great about a sport: its moments, its men and women and its methods. Most of all, it is supposed to be about
Hall of Famers who define the quality of athletics and who lead the right kind of life — a life of integrity for which there is no compromise.”

General Information
The Adams County Chapter which was chartered in 2001 is community based and one of 28 Chapters in Pennsylvania serving more than 300 communities throughout our state. Each year, we induct area greats of yesteryear and endeavors to include athletes, coaches, administrators, officials, sports medicine and sports media. Our Ceremonial Induction/Banquet Is held in November and normally seats five living and two deceased. Our members nominate individuals and they will eventually vote from a ballot after a rigorous highly disciplined screening process by the governing structure of the organization’s Executive Board.

To be recognized by family, friends and all others who truly appreciate unique accomplishments is indeed a special honor bestowed on few. Membership is $15/year and a lifetime membership is $150.
